XEOMIN® and Bocouture®

XEOMIN®and Bocouture® are registered trademark of Merz Aesthetics.

Type: Botulinum toxin type A.

BOCOUTURE® is the same product as XEOMIN which is licenced in the UK for blepharospasm and cervical dystonia.
BOCOUTURE® is provided in 50 unit vials and XEOMIN is provided in 100 unit vials.

 

 

BOCOUTURE was licensed for cosmetic treatments for the glabella area in July 2010. Please see the BOCOUTURE SPC for current approvals.

XEOMIN and BOCOUTURE® are prescription only medicines and must be prescribed by a doctor, dentist, pharmacist or nurse prescriber.

How much is BOCOUTURE®?
Contact Merz Aesthetics or your aesthetics pharmacies for current prices.
50 unit vial of BOCOUTURE® is approximately £54 GBP plus VAT (prescription price no VAT).
100 unit vial of XEOMIN is approximately £118 GBP plus VAT (prescription price no VAT).

 

Prices for XEOMIN and BOCOUTURE prices usually do not vary much but prescription prices DO NOT incurr VAT.
Doctors and dentsist can purchase XEOMIN and BOCOUTURE direct from Merz this will incurr an added 20% VAT.

Other botulinum toxin type a products licensed for cosmetic indications include BOTOX and AZZALURE.

Please note the units and injection doses vary with each brand and type of neurotoxins. They are NOT interchangeable.
