In medical aesthetics it is important for staff and associates to understand the procedures provided by each clinician and the indications they can treat.
Teaching associates and staff about these treatments will enable them to answer questions confidently when they receive enquiries.
How will empowering the aesthetics team with knowledge increase booked consultations?
When a potential client visits or contacts a strategic partner (business, spa or salon who promotes your clinic) or even your own clinic they are assessing to ensure they make the right choice. They need information before they even consider a consultation. If your team have been educated and can communicate the correct information it will improve booked consultations and the patients experience.
For example a customer walks into a spa and picks up your brochure, briefly reviews the treatments and visits the receptionist to ask about the treatments provided.
How will the receptionist respond?
A) “Sorry i don’t know anything about that please contact the clinic directly”
Or
B) “Let me tell you about the clinician and the treatments, would you like me to book a consultation with the clinician for you”
Knowing you and what you do will empower your team which will also increase the confidence of the clients to move to the next stage a booked consultation.
