The cosmetic use of BOTOX to treat crow’s feet was approved by FDA (US) in 2013 and MHRA (UK) in 2014.

BOTOX is now licenced for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet). This marketing authorisation is specific to Allergan’s BOTOX® product.

This course covers horizontal forehead lines, frown lines and the crow’s feet to enable clinicians to treat the main indications for the upper face.

The BOTOX® injections have approval for many medical and cosmetic indications. Clinicians should review the products SPC (Summary of Product Characteristics) contained in every box, and check for updates on the manufacturers and MRHA web site regarding licensing and any product development changes.
